Emmanuel started working on the Geita project back in 1994, at which stage the project was owned by Cluff Mining Company. In 1996 Cluff was bought by Ashanti Goldfields, and then in 2004 Ashanti and Anglogold merged to form Anglogold Ashanti.
Emmanuel has a BSc in Geology from the University of Dar Es Salaam. He obtained his MSc in Mineral Production Management from the University of London (Imperial College) in 2001, and went on to complete his Management Development Programme at the University of Cape Town in 2005. |
