Dr. Kenney is board certified in internal medicine and has over 12 years experience practicing internal medicine in both academic and private settings. He has previously served as an Associate Medical Director for a large Medicare HMO in South Florida. He has extensive experience with technology and electronic prescribing as he served as Director of Medical Affairs at an electronic prescribing company. Dr. Kenney has worked with state peer review organizations on Medicare Quality initiatives focused on the use of technology in assuring the delivery of uniform and quality care over large systems and populations Dr. Kenney joined the Company in July of 2006, as the Associate Medical Director of the AdvantageCare Medicare Advantage product, and will focus on creating positive and dynamic relationships with the Personal Care Physicians in the provider network. Dr. Kenney completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program at Yale where he also served as Chief Resident and clinical instructor. He worked as an Associate Professor at Emory University and was Assoicate Program Director of the Cleveland Clinic Florida�s Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Kenney earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he also obtained his Ph.D. in Physiology and Biophysics. |
