G. Emmett Lynskey is vice president of operations for DuPont Safety & Protection. He joined DuPont in 1969 in the Industrial Chemicals business as a shift engineer at the Memphis, Tenn., plant.
From 1970 to 1985, he held a variety of supervisory positions in operations, technical and business management across the United States. In 1986, he was appointed business manager for Global Minerals in the White Pigments and Mineral Products (WP&MP) business and in 1990, director of manufacturing for WP&MP.
Mr. Lynskey was appointed director of corporate engineering operations and construction in 1993 and four years later, global operations director for the Specialty Chemicals business. In 2004, he became director of global operations for the DuPont Safety & Protection platform. He was appointed to his current position on December 1, 2006.
Mr. Lynskey was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., and has a master of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Tennessee. |
