As Lowe's senior vice president of logistics, Eric Sowder is responsible for inventory management for the company's growing store base. He leads a team that manages logistics planning, vendor logistics, import logistics, forecasting and replenishment, and executes programs to improve productivity and inventory turns. A Lowe's employee since 1984, Sowder previously served as vice president of logistics, and has been a merchandising vice president for the lawn and garden and plumbing categories. Sowder holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
