Eric Brandt is Chief Financial Officer for Broadcom Corporation. Mr. Brandt is responsible for overseeing the long-term financial development of the company in multiple high-growth markets mergers and acquisitions interfacing with the financial community and managing the company's internal financial and administrative operations. Mr. Brandt has extensive experience in research and development and intellectual property-intensive industries. Mr. Brandt has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since joining Broadcom in March 2007. Previously Mr. Brandt served as chief executive officer of Avanir Pharmaceuticals from 2005 to 2007. From 1999 to 2005 Mr. Brandt was Chief Financial Officer in addition he held a variety of other responsibilities during his time there and most recently served as Executive Vice President -- Finance and Technical Operations and Chief Financial Officer of Allergan Inc. a global specialty pharmaceutical and medical device company. Mr. Brandt received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. |
