Eric Kassan Director of Information Technology Eric Kassan leads WorldDoc's IT department, covering areas from software architecture to engineering, database development, quality assurance and product maintenance. Eric s responsibilities extend past the hardware and software and include developing and refining the processes that integrate these areas. In all he does, he strives for performance, reliability, extensibility, and maintainability. Eric came to WorldDoc from MGM Mirage where he held the title of Software Engineering Manager, and where he made significant strides in improving productivity & efficiency. Previously, he spent 8 years at WellPoint Health Networks, where he focused on actuarial work as well as information technology. On the actuarial side, Eric was involved with pricing and forecasting, going as far as obtaining membership in the exclusive American Academy of Actuaries. On the IT side, Eric developed the company s first relational data warehouse and a related intranet site, providing easy access to data for the actuarial departments as well as senior management. This solid grounding in healthcare gives Eric a unique perspective on WorldDoc s systems. Eric holds a BS in Economics from the California Institute of Technology, and is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, Database Administrator & Systems Engineer. He also has obtained certifications in IT management, project management, product management and technical training. |
