Eric Lange is senior vice president, Human Resources for The Nielsen Company. He reports to Susan Whiting, Executive Vice President of The Nielsen Company and Chairman of Nielsen Media Research as well as Greg Anderson, EVP of global human resources for The Nielsen Company. He is based in New York.
In this role, Eric has global responsibility for leading all of the people initiatives for the Company's media information businesses, including Nielsen Media Research.
Eric also oversees the Management Development Rotation Program, which cultivates emerging talent for future leadership roles within various businesses of The Nielsen Company.
Prior to his current role, he was senior vice president of HR for VNU Inc. (former name of The Nielsen Company), where he created the first Corporate HR group for VNU in the United States. In that role, he held responsibility for all US benefits programs, compensation programs, HR practices and policies and a variety of other HR initiatives. Prior to that, Eric held several senior HR positions in various VNU business groups since he joined the company in 1994.
Before joining VNU, Eric was senior vice president of HR for United Jersey Bank in Princeton, New Jersey for four years. He has also held senior human resource positions at Citicorp, Telemundo, Penske Truck Leasing and the Continental Can Company.
Eric holds an MBA in Industrial Relations and a Bachelors degree in Management. |
