Eric Rojas has over twenty years of experience in leading and managing the implementation of integrated plant automation projects in the petroleum, petrochemical and gas processing industry. Prior to joining Freeport LNG, he was the Program Manager and Services Director for Aspentech�s Latin American operations. In this role, Mr. Rojas managed the implementation of several large systems integration projects that included applications covering the full spectrum of business processes, such as operations planning, scheduling operations execution, client nominations, shipping, material balance and reconciliation, environmental health and safety, maintenance, equipment monitoring and performance management. In 1999, Mr. Rojas managed the implementation of a fully integrated solution for eight Pemex Gas processing plants to automate their nominations management, planning optimization and materials balance and reconciliation functions. From 2000 to 2004, he managed the implementation of all key application for two new heavy oil Upgraders at Venezuela (Ameriven and Petrozuata). Mr. Rojas began his career with Esso Petroleum Canada (Imperial Oil) in 1980, where he held several positions at their Sarnia refinery in the areas of development and deployment of their plant applications. |
