Eric Savino joined Prospect in April 2008 as Senior Vice President of Finance for Prospect Administration. He is responsible for managing Prospect�s credit facilities, liquidity position, capital raising efforts, and investor relations.
Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Savino spent seven years originating, structuring and monitoring financial guarantees of structured finance securitizations for bond insurers MBIA Insurance Corporation and XL Capital Assurance. His focus included transactions backed by aircraft and other equipment leases, intellectual property, royalties, and other structured assets.
Prior to that, Mr. Savino spent four years managing the accounting and administration of MBIA's investment portfolio, guaranteed investment contract collateral, derivatives, and a series of pooled investment funds for school districts and other municipal entities. Assets under Mr. Savino�s management aggregated approximately $15 billion.
Mr. Savino began his professional career as a member of the technical staff at ITT Avionics. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York and an MBA in finance from Pace University in New York. |
