Eric was the Director of Network Operations for Verity Inc., where he was responsible for the infrastructure for 650+ employees over nine sites. During his tenure he led them to an "Unqualified Opinion" (i.e., flawless audit) from KPMG during their 2005 IT SOX Audit. Eric joined Verity as part of an acquisition from Inktomi Corporation where he worked from 1997-2003 and helped scale the business to 1,500 employees and over 3,500 servers in production. Eric brings a broad background of MIS and Production Systems Operations including Network Architecture & Security, Scalable Software Development & Deployment, Cryptography, Access Control, and Business Continuity. Eric holds a BS in Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional. |
