Description of Practice:
Eric is a partner in our Century City office whose practice area in real estate focuses on commercial leasing, including complex office, retail, and industrial leases in projects throughout California. His clients include individual and institutional investors and developers of all kinds. In addition to his leasing practice, Eric has extensive experience in the negotiation and documentation of all types of real estate transactions, including purchase and sale transactions, construction, and development. He also has significant experience in the telecommunications field, having negotiated and created forms of all the various agreements governing the delivery of cutting-edge telecommunications services to tenants and other users.
Eric's recent transactional matters include the leasing and operational matters for new Class A+ office complexes in Century City; the purchase, leasing, and operational matters of two landmark San Francisco office buildings; and the leasing and operational matters for nationwide portfolio of office buildings.
Eric is frequently sought as a speaker and writer on leasing matters and telecommunications. He recently spoke on building-owner telecommunication issues at Los Angeles and Sacramento conferences of Law Seminars International. At the Continuing Education Board's Fundamentals of Real Property seminar in 2004, he spoke on tenant work letter and build to suit lease transactions. Eric's article, "Can I Get a Room in Your Telecom Hotel?" was published in the California Real Estate Journal.
Eric is a member of the Century City and Beverly Hills Bar Associations, and of the American Industrial Real Estate Association.
Educational History:
Eric received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1988. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Davis, in 1992. |
