Mr. Toolson serves as the CEO of PLEXOS Solutions LLC. As CEO, he is responsible for the sales, implementation, and support of PLEXOS in North America in addition to consulting assignments. Eric has 25 years experience in the electric energy industry working for both utilities and consulting companies in the areas of power system planning and simulation software. In the last two years he has been an independent consultant to the CAISO. Eric was responsible for the implementation of a methodology to evaluate the economic viability of proposed transmission upgrades using the PLEXOS software solution. Prior to his work at the CAISO, Eric was a Senior Vice President at Henwood Energy and the Manager of System Planning at the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD). Eric is a member of IEEE and Tau Beta Pi, The Engineering Honor Society. |
