Eric Vandewater vice president engineering has well over 20 years of international experience in the design research and development of products for the high technology industry including over 10 years in management and executive positions. He has hired trained and managed development teams for various technology companies and has a solid background in delivering highly valuable intellectual property.
Before joining InPlay in 2006 Vandewater was chief technology officer at SunnComm International since 2001. Vandewater�s vision and leadership enabled the company to grow from a startup lacking technology and engineering capacity into a leader in the digital protection industry in less than three years.
Vandewater started his career in 1983 as a software developer at Philips Electronics in The Netherlands. In 1985 he joined CalComp to develop software and device drivers for plotters and digitizers on both Unix and PC systems. He later became European manager for connectivity and gained extensive international experience working with many large customers throughout Europe. In 1994 he moved to the United States to become the software development manager for the digitizer division of CalComp.Vandewater holds a bachelor degree in electronic engineering and computer science from the HTS Kolhornseweg in Hliversum The Netherlands. |
