Ms. Keller's practice focuses on high-stakes litigation in the state and federal courts of Michigan and in courts across the country, with an emphasis on products liability litigation and complex commercial litigation. She has handled numerous products liability matters, specializing in the defense of automotive and other product manufacturers against product defect claims, consumer class actions and breach of warranty claims. Ms. Keller also has extensive experience in a wide variety of complex commercial disputes, including breach of contract litigation, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) litigation, shareholder disputes and business tort litigation.
Significant Decisions
Alexander v. Kia Motors America, Inc., Orange County, California Superior Court, Case No. 04CC00612, successful defense at trial of automobile distributor in statewide consumer class action alleging fraud, breach of warranty and unfair business practices due to quality and design of two model years of vehicle restraint systems.
O'Connell v. DaimlerChrysler Corporation, Hampshire County, Massachusetts Superior Court, Case No. 01-131, successful resolution at conclusion of five week trial in defense of automobile manufacturer, where plaintiff alleged vehicle design defects caused vehicle fire and permanent, disfiguring personal injuries.
