Erica joined the Clos LaChance team as an intern for the 2003 harvest and took on a permanent position in the lab by November. As the winery�s sole lab tech, Erica has her hands full monitoring the health and progression of all the wines. As a native to the San Francisco Bay Area, Erica grew up surrounded by great wine and food. The industry beckoned, so Erica pursued a B.S. in Viticulture and Enology at U.C. Davis. Throughout and after college, Erica expanded her knowledge of wine by working for Elliston Vineyards in the Livermore Valley and Roche Carneros Winery in Sonoma. Putting aside her love of all things wine, Erica also enjoys reading, riding her motorcycle, and spending time with her husband, Aaron. |
