Ms. Hayner's practice focuses on civil litigation with experience in products liability and toxic tort. She has prepared dozens of asbestos cases from beginning through settlement or trial. Ms. Hayner has participated in all phases of litigation including demurrers, written discovery, taking and defending depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts, motions to compel, summary judgment and summary adjudication motions, motions based specifically on the Los Angeles Asbestos General Orders, and attendance at all court hearings including case management conferences, trial setting conferences, mandatory settlement conferences, and final status conferences. She has second chaired two asbestos trials including Racik v. Alfa Laval, Inc., and Harris v. Bondex International, Inc. Harris v. Bondex International, Inc., resulted in a defense verdict. |
