Erin Michael Kelly joined the Professional Publishing Group at WebMD in 2001. Mr. Kelly has been involved in medical publishing for over 15 years, during which time he has focused on editorial-quality procedures; peer-reviewed and evidence-based medicine; and clinical point-of-care information for medical decision-makers. Prior to becoming Editorial Director for eMedicine, Mr. Kelly served at WebMD as Managing Editor of ACP Medicine (the internal medicine online and print publication sponsored by the American College of Physicians) and ACS Surgery (the general surgery print and online publication sponsored by the American College of Surgeons). Before joining WebMD, Mr. Kelly was Executive Editor at Praxis Press Inc, where he collaborated in the creation of both the professional and the patient areas of the company�s primary-care Web site, Praxis.MD. Mr. Kelly also was Executive Editor of The Johns Hopkins White Papers, a well-regarded series of in-depth reports on chronic diseases written for consumers. |
