Erin C. Asborno�s practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, product liability and construction litigation. Ms. Asborno has been involved in a variety of complex commercial and product liability cases. Prior to joining Hall & Evans, she assisted with a lengthy multi-state consumer class action fraud suit involving the provision of telecommunication services, which successfully settled. She also drafted briefs on complex legal issues in connection with obtaining a preliminary injunction involving trade secret misappropriation. She has drafted several successful summary judgment briefs involving products liability and professional liability. She has served as second chair in a successful product liability jury trial. She has represented numerous manufacturers and distributors in product liability cases, including manufacturers of automobiles, medical devices, and equipment, and producers and distributors of construction materials. She has litigated and negotiated the resolution of numerous commercial and tort claim disputes. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver College of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the Denver University Law Review. She is admitted to practice before the Colorado Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. She is an Editorial Board Member of the American Bar Association�s Commercial & Business Litigation Committee, a co-chair of the American Bar Association�s Commercial & Business Litigation Committee�s E-Discovery Subcommittee, and serves on the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations� Professionalism Committee. She is also a member of the Colorado Women�s Bar Association, and a Barrister in the American Inns of Court. Ms. Asborno�s past activities include pro bono representation to help a child obtain access to special education services through the Legal Center for People with Disabilities. She has provided years of volunteer work for the Denver community, through the Junior League of Denver, including past service as a co-chair of the Holiday Mart Special Events Committee, a large fundraiser for programs that focus on improving the community through the health and education of women and children. |
