Background: Ethan is an associate with the law firm of Hale Lane Peek Dennison and Howard where he practices primarily in the field of commercial litigation. Ethan was born and raised in the northern Chicago area, prior to obtaining his undergraduate and law school degrees in southern California. Education and Professional Affiliations/Community Affiliations Ethan attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he received the Academic Excellence Award for his participation in the Undergraduate Honors Program. He obtained his Bachelor of Art degree in Law and Society with high honors, and a minor in Global Peace and Security. Ethan received his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he graduated second in his class, and was a member of the Law Review and Alternative Dispute Resolution Team. While in law school, Ethan received the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence (highest grade award) and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Criminal Law, Contracts II, Constitutional Law I, Constitutional Law II (First Amendment law), Legal Writing, and Professional Responsibility. Prior to joining Hale Lane, Ethan served as an extern to Honorable Barry T. Moskowitz in the United States District Court for Southern California and clerked for two law firms. Ethan is a member of the State Bar of Nevada. |
