Mr. Manson directs all oil and gas operations in Nigeria and Colombia and evaluates new oil and gas producing opportunities for company participation. As Managing Director of an Irish public company in which Camac had a majority interest, he led the turnaround of this company, with oil interests in the North Sea and West Africa, from a virtual shell company to one of profitable status with a plan for significant future growth. Mr. Manson has forty-five years of oil field experience during which he has been involved in hundreds of wells responsible for exploration, drilling, production, facility design and installation, economic evaluation and budgeting. His scope of experience extends from field level to top management. He has worked extensively in the U. S. Gulf Coast region both onshore and offshore and, for the last ten years, in the prolific oil producing area of West Africa. Mr. Manson also participated in the start up and IPO of a small independent U. S. oil company and, for a period of ten years, directed the operations that found and developed seventeen offshore oil and gas fields in the Gulf of Mexico. He then assisted in the sale of that company at the height of its revenue producing potential at a significant profit to the shareholders. Throughout his career he has directed operations, which have resulted in significant corporate growth and has successfully weathered economic downturns. He is a graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor�s degree in petroleum engineering. |
