Evan Gull, Escapia's Director of Products, is a true pioneer of vacation rental software. He began writing vacation rental management software in 1981 coincident with the introduction of the IBM Personal Computer. Evan co-founded and served as Vice President, Software Development for First Resort Software from its inception in 1985 until 1999, after it went public on the New York Stock Exchange as the technology arm of Resortquest, Inc. Evan was the creator and chief developer of the industry flagship software product Avmain. Prior to starting First Resort, Evan worked for NASA during the Apollo lunar landing program, and was a Manager of Software Application Development for the Arabian American Oil Company in Saudi Arabia. Evan received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. |
