F.L. "Skip" Miller was President of 2001
Armstrong Wheels from 1970 until
1998. Then in 1998 from his Chief
Executive Officer position, Mr.
Miller consummated the company's
highly lucrative buy-out from the
international conglomerate GKN
Wheels. The selling of Armstrong
Wheels for an impressive premium
price was largely based on his
ability to build the company with
consistent double-digit annual
growth. In 1998 Mr. Miller
purchased AERO Race Wheels, Inc.,
which started as a division of
Armstrong Wheels in 1997. AERO
Race Wheels today has become the
largest manufacturer of steel
racing wheels in the United States
under his leadership. |
