Dr. Fabio Rossi has served as our medical advisor since October 2005. Currently an assistant professor in Medical Genetics at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Rossi has extensive knowledge in medical genetics and medicine. Specializing in Molecular Biology and Medicine, Dr. Rossi carries a wide array of experience from all over North America. In 1991, Dr. Rossi received his Medical Doctorate with Honors from the University of Geneva, in Italy in the area of medicine. He then received his Ph.D. from the European Molecular Biology Laboratories in Heidelberg, Germany in Molecular Biology in 1996. Dr. Rossi is a member of the Italian Medical Professional Order, a habilitation to practice in the medical profession field. For five years he has supervised over eight graduate students at the University of British Columbia. He has been a presenter in over thirty presentations around the world, and has over twenty five publications. With over seven awards awarded to him such as the Canadian Research Chair 2001 award, and the Canadian Society for Clinical Investigation Award in 2005, Dr. Rossi brings a plethora of experience and knowledge to Chemokine Therapeutics Corp. |
