Dr. Fardad Fateri is the Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs. He has held this post since November 2005. He joined Corinthian Colleges, Inc in June 2004 as a Vice President.
Prior to joining CCi, Dr. Fateri served as the President of DeVry University in Southern California which was at that point one of the most successful divisions of DeVry, Inc. Dr. Fateri served the DeVry, Inc community for approximately 10 years.
Before joining DeVry, Dr. Fateri spent over 7 years at the Orange County Campus of United States International University holding the positions of Graduate Advisor, Assistant Director, and then the Director of the Campus. Prior to entering the higher education space, Dr. Fateri worked in other business sectors.
During his career in higher education, Dr. Fateri spent ample time in the classroom as a professor teaching courses in psychology, education, and business. He has also published many journal articles, and has made presentations at multiple conferences.
Dr. Fateri earned his bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees from University of California in Irvine; California State University in Fullerton; and Alliant International University respectively. He earned his doctoral degree in Leadership and Human Behavior with a specialization in Organizational behavior. Dr. Fateri also completed the "Management and Leadership in Education" program at Harvard University.
