Dr. Maida is currently the Senior Medical Officer, Northern Division. He has overall administrative and clinical responsibilities for operations of multiple Hospitalist Medicine Physicians (HMP) practice sites within this region.
Dr. Maida consults with colleagues and members of the healthcare team to determine their needs and improvement priorities. Dr. Maida facilitates high quality physician performance and improved patient outcomes at each practice site within the region.
Dr. Maida joined HMG as a staff physician in September 2000. He was promoted in July 2003, to Site Director at Albany Memorial Hospital in Albany, New York. He served as a member of the Albany Memorial Medical Executive Committee and consistently demonstrated a commitment to high quality medical care and services. Dr. Maida transitioned into the role of Regional Director for HMG in July 2005. Dr. Maida�s strengths lie in his ability to teach and mentor all members of the healthcare team.
Dr. Maida is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. After receiving his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Istanbul, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. |
