Dr. Felix M. Barker is professor of optometry and research director at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO). Professor Barker received his doctorate in 1973 from Indiana University and his masters in vision science in 1979 from the University of Houston. Professor Barker joined the PCO faculty in 1978 after completion of his graduate studies and his military service as an army optometry officer. He is the former director of medical education of the Eye Institute at PCO and has served on the Optometric Accreditation Council of the American Optometric Association and on the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties of the American Pharmaceutical Association. He was recently elected a distinguished practitioner of the National Academy of Practice of Optometry. |
