Graduate in Economics and Business Studies at Madrid University and Chartered Accountant, he has great experience as an auditor. He was an executive partner in Arthur Andersen; Board Member and Vice President of the CNMV (administrator of the Spanish Stock Market); and General Manager of the Caja de Ahorros y Pensiones de Barcelona. In 1996 he was appointed Assistant Managing Director of this Savings Bank, a position which he has occupied to date. He is also Chairman of the Spanish Financial Futures Market (Mercado Espa�ol de Futuros Financieros). |
