Dr. Fernando Guerra joined De La Rosa & Co. as a Senior Vice President in 2006, after serving as government relations consultant for the firm since it was established in 1989.
Guerra established the Center for the Study of Los Angeles at Loyola Marymount University in 1996. He is also an Associate Professor at LMU in the Chicano Studies and Political Science departments. He earned his doctorate and Master�s degree in political science from the University of Michigan, after studying poli-sci and international relations at USC.
Guerra has served on the City of Los Angeles� Transportation and Rent Adjustment commissions, and was a member of the Rebuild L.A. Task Force. He writes extensively about Latinos and California politics for the L.A. Times and other publications, and has co-hosted Life & Times on KCET. |
