Fieldi H. Chan joined the firm in 2005 as an associate in the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group.
Intellectual Property. Fieldi is a registered patent attorney, and focuses on patent matters involving software and systems architecture. She has prepared patent applications and non-infringement opinions involving a wide variety of software and computing technology. She has also counseled clients in transactions involving intellectual property, especially in the areas of freedom to operate searches, due diligence involving software and other technical matters, and other opinions regarding electronics or software.
In General. Fieldi received her bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, in electrical engineering from Drexel University in 1997, her master's degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University in 1997, and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law in 2005. Prior to practicing law, Fieldi worked as a software engineer and an IT manager. |
