He was born in Venice in 1939, has a degree in economics and is a chartered accountant and auditor.
He works a professional chartered accountant and serves as a court appointed liquidator and as a judicial Commissioner.
He has also served as chairman of the Permanent Conference of Chartered Accountants of the Tre Venezie and chairman of the Association of Chartered Accountants of Treviso.
He has been: Director of Banca d�Italia (branch of Treviso) and Extraordinary Commissioner of Cassa Rurale di preganziol and Chairman of the Surveillance Committee of Societ� Finanziaria Ernesto Breda S.p.A. in receivership, Statutory Auditor of listed and financial companies such as: Biosearch Italia S.p.A., Banca Popolare di Venezia and Compagnia Finanziaria di Investimento S.p.A..
He is currently Statutpry Auditor of: Benetton Group S.p.A., Banca Meridiana S.p.A. and Beni Stabili Property Management S.p.A..
He has been effective statutory auditor of Eni S.p.A. since 1998.
