Floyd Warkol, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, began his career in 1970 as a project manager for a KSW predecessor company, followed by stints as a Vice President Estimating, Vice President Project Management and Executive Vice President. He founded his own mechanical contracting company, which was acquired in 1985 by JWP Inc., a NYSE company. At JWP, Mr. Warkol helped acquire over two dozen mechanical contractors throughout the United States and served on the Board of Directors of JWP�s Mechanical/Electrical Group, where he oversaw 1.7 billion dollars in construction throughout the United States. His is a past President of the American Subcontractors Association, an organization of 5,000 contractors throughout the country and a past President of the Subcontractors Trade Association of New York.
Mr. Warkol is active in several charities, including the Jewish National Fund, Israel Bonds, the Life Organization and the Queens Council of the Boy Scouts. |
