Francesco Santoro is director and country manager for INTEC do Brasil Ltda., based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Santoro joined INTEC in 2003 and is responsible for the company�s business activities in the region. He also serves as an advisor to INTEC clients for local regulatory issues.
Santoro has nearly 35 years of experience in the oil industry, including technical and managerial positions with Petrobras and consulting activities for the Brazil Petroleum Agency (ANP) and various engineering and construction companies in Brazil.
His specific capabilities include mechanical engineering and project management, with previous experience on process plants, including engineering, procurement, contracting, construction and start-up assistance; engineering management; and technical marketing expertise. Santoro speaks Portuguese, English and Italian and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
Santoro holds a bachelor�s of science degree in mechanical engineering from Universidade Cat�lica de Petr�polis in Brazil and has completed Petrobras-sponsored post graduate work in equipment engineering. He also has completed advanced management programs, attending INSEAD at Fontainebleau, France, and Amana at Sao Paulo, Brazil. |
