Francis M. Scricco is group vice president, Avaya Global Services. Avaya is a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services. Scricco leads an organization of more than 7,000 skilled services professionals located around the world.
Avaya Global Services is the U.S. leader in enterprise PBX communications systems maintenance, according to industry analyst firm InfoTech. Supported by 27 network operations and technical support centers worldwide, the organization provides services that help companies design and implement communications networks. It offers one of the industry's most comprehensive portfolios of solutions and services for IP (Internet Protocol) telephony.
Most recently, Scricco was president and chief executive officer, Arrow Electronics, one of the world's largest distributors of electronic components and computer products and a leading provider of solutions and services to the technology sector. In his five years with Arrow, he led the transformation of the company from a distributor to a supply chain services provider. This transformation required refining the value proposition, realigning resources, establishing new performance metrics and integrating acquired companies to provide better coverage of all customer segments.
Before joining Arrow, Scricco was president of Fisher Products Group, one of three operating units of Fisher Scientific International. Scricco also held senior positions at Inglis Ltd., the wholly owned Canadian subsidiary of Whirlpool Corporation; Proteon, Inc., a local area networking products company; and the General Electric Company. He began his career at The Boston Consulting Group.
He received a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Columbia University. |
