Dr. Francis Lamy, Chief Technology Officer, joined X-Rite as part of the July 2006 Amazys acquisition. Francis served as Executive VP and Chief Technology Officer for GretagMacbeth AG (Amazys Holding AG) from 2002-2006, covering strategy, innovation, and business development functions. Amazys was a publicly traded color technology company headquartered in Switzerland.
Francis joined GretagMacbeth in 1999, leading the Digital Imaging division at GretagMacbeth, where he architected and executed GretagMacbeth's transformation from an instrument manufacturer to a solution provider. Prior to joining GretagMacbeth, Francis was the founder and president of Dalim, a workflow software company for the graphic arts markets, which he conducted from inception to world scale deployment.
Earlier in his career, in his post-doc days, Francis was assistant professor of Solid State Physics at the University of Strasbourg, and consultant to the French Ministry of Industry in innovation matters. Francis holds a PhD in physics from the University of Strasbourg, France. |
