Frank B. La Fontaine-Maestre is an Associate of the Litigation Practice Group. He is member of the Pro Bono Committee. He joined the firm in October 2002.
Practice and Experience
Frank La Fontaine is an Associate at McConnell Vald�s who focuses on litigation in the areas of civil and commercial disputes, intellectual property and communications law. Mr. La Fontaine also counsels and advises clients on internet and information technology matters, including negotiation and drafting trademark and copyright licenses and website agreements.
Mr. La Fontaine has also litigated before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy proceedings ("cybersquatting"), as well as filed and prosecuted U.S. and Puerto Rico trademark applications.
Mr. La Fontaine represents the Puerto Rico Olympic Trust on a pro bono basis and is a frequent lecturer on internet research strategies and art law.
