Experience:
Frank Arado has a wide-ranging real estate practice that includes commercial real estate and finance and corporate matters. He advises developers, financial institutions, pension funds, private equity funds, real estate investment trusts, real estate operating companies, and corporations on their commercial real estate and finance transactions and general business dealings.
His joint venture experience includes helping private equity funds and other institutional clients form joint ventures for the ownership and operation of all types of real estate assets. In the area of finance, Frank counsels financial institutions and pension funds in complex financing transactions with real estate as the primary security, including participating and non-participating construction and permanent loans, mezzanine loans, and sale and lease-back transactions.
Frank also advises a broad range of clients on complex acquisition and disposition transactions involving vacant land and improved commercial properties, including those that are part of portfolios of real estate assets. He represents retail and industrial developers in all aspects of retail and industrial projects, including the assemblage, entitlement, financing, leasing, and sale of various retail and industrial properties. In the area of leasing, Frank represents landlords in ground leases and leases of office, retail, and industrial properties.
