Dr. Frank Criado is the Chief of Vascular Surgery and Director of Vascular Intervention at the Union Memorial Hospital-MedStar Health in Baltimore, Maryland. He is also the Director of Clinical Vascular Research and of the Vascular Lab at the same institution.
He is a graduate of the School of Medicine at the Republic University in Montevideo, Uruguay. He completed a 5-year Residency in Surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, and a Cardiovascular Surgery Fellowship at Methodist Hospital-Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Criado has long been recognized as a pioneer in endovascular therapy and aortic stent-graft technology. He is the author of more than 100 scientific publications, numerous book chapters and editor-author of several books. He is a frequently invited lecturer at most major vascular and endovascular events in the USA and around the world. |
