The 2007 campaign marks the 21st season for Frank Kleha with the Falcons and fourth as Senior Director of Media Relations. Some of Frank's duties include helping to arrange media interviews for players, coaches and front office personnel with local reporters from newspapers, television and radio stations, as well as national media from around the country.
Kleha works closely on the production of the team's pre-season games on WXIA-TV and their yearly programming needs, as well as with radio partner Dave FM, and with the weekly NFL television partners in the broadcast of every contest. He is also the club's publications Managing Editor for the media guide, the NFL Gameday program, and team's yearbook. A product of Springfield, Va., he graduated from George Mason University with a bachelor's degree in communications. Kleha worked for GMU's sports information office before coming to Atlanta, and reveled in the school's recent college basketball run to the men's 2006 Final Four.
His NFL background also includes a stint with the Washington Redskins. Kleha has been part of a department that has been nominated on two occasions for the prestigious Pete Rozelle Award presented by the Pro Football Writers of America for outstanding service to the media.
Frank has been selected by the NFL to assist with the media coordination of the NFC Championship Game on three occasions. In addition, he's also worked three Super Bowls for the NFL, as well as participating in the Falcons only Super Bowl (XXXIII) appearance in team history during the 1998 season. Kleha added to his championship-working resume by serving as a media liaison at the men's basketball Final Four in Atlanta in 2002.
He and his wife, Wendy, reside with their son, Cody, and daughter, Allie, in Roswell, Georgia.
