Frank is the Founder and Chairman of Frank N. Magid Associates, Inc., the world's largest provider of attitudinal research and consulting services to the communications industry. Frank saw the potential for using the scientific study of human behavior to gain practical business insights and competitive advantage. The result was the founding of Frank N. Magid Associates in 1957. Mr. Magid built the business into a worldwide operation with offices in New York, London, and Los Angeles, as well its headquarters in Marion, Iowa. He has served on the boards of The Smithsonian Institution, Iowa Public Television, and a number of other businesses. He currently serves on the board of Direct Relief International. Mr. Magid was a 2003 inductee in the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame. |
