Frank joined Pyxant Labs in May 2006 as Chief Operating Officer. Frank brings nearly three decades experience in the analytical contract services business. Most recently, Frank served as Sr. Vice President and COO for Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences where he established an analytical laboratory operation and participated as a corporate officer in the rapidly growing contract services organization focused on the development of pharmaceutical products. In addition to leading laboratory activities, he was responsible for project mangement, facilities, and corporate administration. Frank worked at Midwest Research Institute for eighteen years where his responsibilities included management of the Bio and Pharmaceutical Analysis Section. His role included maintenance of Federal contracts with the NIH and growing business with private industry to support drug development and registration activities. He taught chemistry courses at a Kansas City Metropolitan Junior College and developed a specialized course in chromatography funded by local businesses and a National Science Foundation grant. Frank holds a B.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. |
