As Software Development Manager at ACA, T. L. (Frank) Pappas is responsible for the development and support of the company's software products including the MASTRR Solutions Product Family. He manages the ACA development team and quality assurance staff in the delivery of sophisticated technology-based solutions for ACA customers. With over 30 years of experience in the software development industry, his primary areas of expertise include the design and implementation of complex enterprise software systems using object-oriented technology and Microsoft's .net technologies, project management, and technical writing. Mr. Pappas holds a M.S. degree in Computer Science from Villanova University and a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Drexel University. For 10 years, he also reviewed hardware and software for IEEE Computer, the flagship publication of the IEEE Computer Society and occasionally did the same for PC Week. Prior to joining ACA, Mr. Pappas was the software development manager for the world's largest e-commerce game reseller, and led the development of its international web site. Prior to that, he worked in a variety of positions as a corporate employee or as a consultant, developing web applications, clinical systems, compilers, operating system debuggers and life-at-risk military applications. Mr. Pappas was one of the co-developers of the U.S. Army's software curricula for both the Ada programming language and for Software Engineering and frequently taught both. He also performed research in software reuse and published several articles and reports on reuse. Reusability guidelines he co-developed were used at Carnegie Mellon's Software Engineering Institute. |
