Frank Thiel is the Senior Director of Development Engineering and CAD at Legerity. He is responsible for the development, design, and release to production of all Legerity's semiconductor products. Frank has been with Legerity since the company was founded in 2000, and was with AMD's Communications Group prior to that. Before joining AMD, Mr. Thiel designed and developed mixed-signal ICs at Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Thiel earned his Bachelor's degree at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, and earned his Master's Degree at the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and has served on the executive committee of the IEEE Bipolar/BiCMOS Circuits and Technology Meeting for years. Mr. Thiel holds over 16 US patents and has published several papers. |
