Mr. Tropiano is the former Regional Operating Officer and Director of eSolutions for Breakaway Solutions, Inc., an Internet consulting company and application server provider. In this dual role Mr. Tropiano was responsible for the utilization and operational activities for the Mid-Atlantic region as well as being responsible for a web-based development team for Breakaway�s Philadelphia Solutions Lab. Mr. Tropiano�s background is in web-based financial applications including online brokerage trading and E-commerce systems. His background also includes collecting, processing and distributing real time and historical financial data over the Internet. Prior to joining Breakaway Solutions, Mr. Tropiano was the Vice President of Reuters Web Development for Reality Online, a Reuters� company. Mr. Tropiano spent 11 years with Reality Online and was part of the team who designed and built the award winning financial planner software WealthBuilder by Money Magazine. During his time with Reality Online he held numerous positions including: Vice President of Development, Director of Content Services, Director of Data Center Operations, and Director of Macintosh Products. Mr. Tropiano earned his bachelor�s degree in Computer Science from Drexel University in 1988. |
