Franklin B. Jones is vice president of Finance and Enterprise Services and president of Intel India for Intel Corporation.
In this role he is responsible for the overall operations and general management of Intel India. This includes the Intel India Development Center, internal support operations and external government and industry relationships. Previously, he was vice president of Finance and Enterprise Services and director of Supply Network Capability in the Information Services and Technology Group, where he partnered with the business units to design and implement business and information systems for Intel�s supply network. In addition, as a key leader in the formation of what was previously Intel�s eBusiness Group, Jones helped merge application organizations located across the company and around the world. He led the globalization strategy and deployment of applications software with expansion of Intel�s resource base into Asia with development centers in India and Malaysia.
Jones joined Intel in 1990 and held several manufacturing and management roles supporting various Intel branded product groups. In addition, he led various information systems groups supporting the reengineering and implementation of Enterprise systems across the manufacturing and supplier networks.
Prior to joining Intel, Jones served as manufacturing manager at Unisys Corporation from 1985 to 1990. From 1980 to 1985, he was a research engineer at Energy and Environmental Research.
Jones received his bachelor's degree in environmental sciences from the University of Virginia in 1979. He graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 1986 with a master's degree in management science. |
