Dr. Leversedge has been in private practice with Hand Surgery Associates in Denver, CO, since 2001, and holds an Assistant Professorship in the University of Colorado�s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He also serves as Chairman in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Medical Center of Aurora. Dr. Leversedge received his M.D. from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, NH, followed by a General Surgical internship and Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He went on to complete his Hand and Upper Extremity surgery Fellowship at Washington University�s School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Leversedge is an avid soccer player and coach, having lettered in soccer at Dartmouth and then going on as a professional player with several international teams. He continues to support youth athletics in his community and served as Site Physician at the 2004 International Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. His volunteer efforts as a physician include his role as volunteer Hand Surgeon for the Public Health Service Hospital in Chinle, New Mexico. Dr. Leversedge has over 80 publications and presentations and regularly lectures on cutting edge topics in hand and wrist surgery. |
