Practice Emphasis Litigation Professional Experience Pete Gibson's practice encompasses significant experience in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex litigation which includes representation in civil and criminal matters involving commercial, RICO, environmental regulation, and First Amendment issues, and fraud disputes, in both state and federal courts. Mr. Gibson is a former shareholder with Nevada law firm Hale Lane Peek Dennison and Howard. After graduating law school, Mr. Gibson was a law clerk for Nevada District Court Judge J. Charles Thompson. He served as a captain in the United States Army, Judge Advocate General's Corps, and as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Nevada. In private practice since 1984, Mr. Gibson has tried numerous cases to verdict in both federal and state courts. He also acted as an associate general counsel for American Pacific Corporation (NASDAQ APFC) and was president of the company's start-up subsidiary engaged in the worldwide manufacture and distribution of chemical fire suppression products. He was also engaged as general manager for two professional sports franchises (Continental Indoor Soccer League and Arena Football League) and is past president of the Arena Football League. More recently, Mr. Gibson has served, on a case-by-case basis, as a private prosecuting attorney for the Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline. Mr. Gibson is admitted to the State Bars of Nevada and California, as well as to various United States District Courts and Courts of Appeal.
