Mr. Ferrara has over 17 years experience in Information technology with over 9 years in pathology and diagnostic services. Mr. Ferrara comes to Aurora from Labcorp Inc. where he served as Director of Information Technology for Anatomic Pathology, directly responsible for laboratory and reporting systems across several divisions for Anatomic Pathology. Prior to acquisition of DIANON System's by Labcorp in 2003 Mr. Ferrara served with DIANON Systems, Inc. for 6 years in several key Information Technology positions increasing in responsibility, ultimately responsible for all Information Technology systems as Director of Information Systems. Both previous positions Mr. Ferrara was responsible for laboratory integration and acquisition transition for more than 14 locations. During his 9 years in the laboratory industry, Mr. Ferrara and his teams have developed industry standard products which vendors and several major laboratories use today. Mr. Ferrara's previous experience outside the laboratory industry includes: Network Engineer at the University of New Haven, and senior software developer for the Regional Water Authority in New Haven, CT. |
