A highly successful Silicon Valley medical device entrepreneur, Fred has founded five medical companies and held senior management positions in both large and small enterprises. Fred is an essential element in formulating and guiding the management of Sadra Medical on the overall strategic planning and execution of the company. He currently serves as co-founder, President and CEO of AccessClosure. Other companies which he founded and led include Embolic Protection, Inc., Confluent Surgical, Inc., MarketRx, Inc., and EndoTex Interventional Systems, Inc. Fred is either author or co-author on over 35 issued or filed patent applications, involving unique and novel medical devices. He has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering from Tennessee, graduating summa cum laude. |
