Fred Messina is an industry-recognized leader in air traffic management systems and network-centric operations applications. He brings a 22-year career of responsible leadership experience in corporate development, program management, government affairs and technology innovation for large and complex systems of national importance. Mr. Messina is responsible for strengthening customer relationships, building business alliances and identifying value-enhancing solutions for mission-critical needs. Mr. Messina will also lead the Congressional relations and legislative advocacy initiatives. Mr. Messina has been at the forefront of the transformation of the U.S. air transportation system. In taking on the challenges of advancing the next generation air traffic system, Mr. Messina draws upon successful experiences working across multiple government agencies, industry organizations and academia. Prior to joining Era's executive leadership team, Mr. Messina was Vice President of Strategic Programs at Sensis Corporation, where he orchestrated, prioritized and implemented the company-wide legislative strategy, and was the focal point for strengthening and building long-term business relationships for high-value projects. Mr. Messina has also held several positions at Hughes Aircraft and Raytheon Company, including Director of Strategic Programs and Pursuits, Director of Advanced Technology Programs and Director of Business Development. Mr. Messina participates in several government and academic advisory boards, and holds a Bachelor�s and Master�s degree in Mathematics and an MBA. |
