Frederick A. Russ, PhD, has served as a director of Kendle since November 2002. Dr. Russ is Senior Vice Provost at the University of Cincinnati, a position he has held since 2004. Prior to that he served for 10 years as Dean of the College of Business for the university. He previously served as non-executive Chairman of the Board of Charles & Colvard, Ltd. [CTHR], a manufacturer and distributor of moissanite jewels for use in jewelry sold around the world, and remains on its Board of Directors. Dr. Russ also serves as a director of the Economics Center for Education & Research and is a former member of
the board of Cree [CREE], an advanced materials company he helped found, and Techsolve, a not-for-profit serving manufacturing clients. He has co-authored three textbooks and numerous articles on marketing strategy and the behavior of consumers and sales personnel. |
